Welcome to my fansite for 1000xRESIST! Aka: The Toxic Clone Yuri Non-Linear Storytelling Mommy Issues Game that has taken over my life. Spoiler warning for pretty much the whole site, plus a lot of imperfect code since this is run by an amateur site maker who's learning as they go.

About Me

Hekki ALLMO! 1000xRESIST is something that lives in my head rent-free, so here's a run-down of my favorite components.

Favorite Character: 🩷 Healer!!!

Favorite Relationships: Healer/Anyone, Iris/Mimi, and really any and every femslash possibility the game holds which is so very many and a big reason I love it here so much

Favorite Songs: Fixer's Song, The Occupants, The Other Side, A Teardrop, Hide and Seek, Jiao, The Orchard at Peace, Watcher, Year Unknown, Principal, Watcher and A City

Favorite Locations: The Orchard now that I know how to navigate it, the school contrasting between past and present, and the communion cave

Favorite Quote: Any of the times where a character says "Good girl" no I will not elaborate

Playthrough Count: At least 3, but I have played random chapters and watched playthrough sections for reference a bunch.

Started Playing: Dec. 2024 all because I came across that art of Healer holding a jar of eyeballs by Maarika and desperately needed to know more

Fun Facts: THERE USED TO NOT BE AN ORCHARD MAP AT ALL. Maybe this isn't a fun fact actually.

Why I like it so much: Toxic clone yuri!! The surrealism of it all! The themes! This game was an experience like no other. I had no idea where it was going but I was on the edge of my seat for every second of it. There are some pieces of it I can't relate to as much as others can, but I've been able to learn so much through the fandom and the perspectives in the game as well which is always a huge plus. It just left me with so much to think about and theorize on it has haunted me ever since I first played. As much as I complained about getting lost, the Orchard now feels weirdly like home.

Favorite Parallels: All the generational trauma makes me insane, especially in regards to how Mother and Iris mirror Source and Secretary, but I particularly go insane for: "You have no idea what I've protected you from" / "You have no idea how I've missed you."

Site Plans

General:

  • Layout tweaks and better mobile responsivity
  • Shellsona art for homepage
  • Fix the text hover animation so that the text color slides instead of fades and figure out why sometimes a strip of the animated background sticks around even when hovering away
  • I got scrollbars to wrap to beveled/rounded corners! But this messed up quite a bit of the layout and I still need to make sure some boxes have the right settings :( So I will be cleaning up from this for a while
  • Compress images once I'm more set on what ones to include
  • Better accessibility practices (image descriptions, more specific element labels instead of throwing everything into divs, etc)

Quote Generator:

  • Add more quotes
  • Prevent quotes from repeating
  • Fix how some quotes get cut off by the box on mobile, ideally by figuring out how to make font size responsive to the container per quote. Similarly, fix how if you're scrolled down too far and hit the button, the quote container kind of pushes up or down depending on quote size.
  • I figured out how to sync images to quotes! But I need to get actual images to use beyond the Watcher one I tested with (or maybe just ditch all of this and have one static background image so it's not visually overwhelming)
  • Need to apply the settings so the scrollbar doesn't go beyond beveled corners

My Creations:

  • Add my art and fanfics directly onto the site.
  • I also want to make more stuff so I have more to feature, such as fanmixes, theories, essays, etc!

Characters:

  • Add more quotes and check their accuracy
  • Update some images
  • Get images and names/spoilery details to change on click with an animated transition
  • Add more characters

Chapters:

  • I need to go back through the story itself to better place what happened when
  • Get better images or utilize the ones I have better
  • Fix layout - textboxes shrink too much too soon when screen size lessens.

  • Healer fanpage themed around her!
  • Page for my favorite songs from the soundtrack so I can go back to them more easily (maybe learn to make a built-in player synced to some official posting of it somewhere for this or fanmixes?
  • Proper recs page for articles and other people's fanworks rather than the Resources page

  • A place where people can submit messages instead of emailing - I really just want a suggestions box for games/shows/etc like 1000xRESIST
  • Linear timeline page for reference
  • Shellsona or other OCs pages if I make more

This site began as part of the "Ghost of You" shrine challenge. 1000xRESIST is, at its core, a ghost story of generational trauma. This seemed like a really fitting challenge, so I wanted to make a 1KXR tribute!
